Year-Round
Programs
Year-round residential
programs invite 10 to 18-year-olds to learn not only from each other
and the staff, but from cows, sheep, pigs, plants, and the land itself.
Young people step back from their fast-paced lives and develop a better
understanding of their special connection to the local and global
community. Among many other age-appropriate activities, participants
feed and care for the animals, tend the garden, listen to nature,
build and repair farm facilities, cook meals from the fruits of their
labor and share those meals in a local soup kitchen. They participate
in daily seminars about everything from world hunger to the tiniest
bugs in our soil. The farm offers intellectual challenges to last
a lifetime.
For our year-round programs, we offer opportunities for day and overnight programs. If you are a part of the Sacred Heart Network, we also offer network programs.
