Year-Round Overnight Programs
The new Overnight Program at Sprout Creek Farm offers middle- and high-school age students an enjoyable and educational experience at a working dairy farm and creamery. During your group’s two- to five-day stay, your students will become familiar with responsible agricultural practices through their participation in daily chores, including cow and goat milking, and animal care. Upon arrival, your group will take an educational tour of the farm with one of our experienced educator/farmers. Our modern facilities will provide a setting in which your students will build community through shared responsibilities.
Each day you spend on the farm contains two two-hour activity blocks which are focused through your theme selection, described below, or your customized lesson selection. Please keep in mind that some activities are seasonal.
